The Schull & Skibbereen Railway - once more aptly called a Tramway - was bankrupt almost from Day One, operated in a geographically hostile environment and, in the opinion of many, historically hostile too. Like all such institutions, it was lovable and left behind a host of folklore which has grown in the telling. Hardback, 280 pages, numerous b/w illustrations, maps and drawings.
