In Volume 3 of Tracks of the old Santa Fe we'll cross the Rocky Mountains through the professional camera lens of Rich Scheid.
This is Santa Fe's southern crossing on the Rockies and the main line crossing of this range of mountains.
The BNSF winds it's way through the mountains...This highly scenic crossing is called ABO Canyon. The railroad crosses seven bridges through the canyon and Green Frog's photographer Rich Scheid captures all seven bridges from many different angles, As Rich hikes through the canyon down below track level and above. The video ends in Mountainair, New Mexico on the east side of the Rockies.
