While many enthusiasts put the trains at the top of their interest list, there are many who see the infrastructure of the railway as more important.
In this respect followers of the LMS are particullarly well served as members of the LMS Society have been collecting information on the myriad of items which support the railway for many years. Much of this information was published in Model Railways magazine in the mid 1970s but now it is availble in book form.
This first volume now looks at Stations, Crossing the Line, Station Lamps and Station Nameboards.
Softback, 112 pages, 280 b/w illustrations 22 drawings.
