After a meeting and conversation over twenty years ago, one summer in the beautiful Cam Valley, Tom Young went back home with the idea of writing the story of what had taken place after the cameras stopped rolling at Titfield. The result is an original work of fiction which takes the characters and situations at the end of the film, and develops them within a completely new plot to tell the story of what happened to the villagers and their railway all those years ago. Tom has written a satisfying tale that ties up all of the loose ends at the film, while at the same time introducing new characters and situations, all the while entertaining his readers in a piece of writing that perfectly evokes both the spirit of the film and characters that were introduced in the original film.
